Follow-Up Services Provided at Our Center
As a California Prenatal Diagnosis Center, we offer coordinated follow-up evaluation that includes:
Genetic Counseling
Patients meet with a certified genetic counselor to review:
- The meaning of the screen-positive result
- Genetic risks
- Testing options
- Possible outcomes and next steps
Genetic counseling provides patients with a clear understanding of their situation and available choices.
Diagnostic Ultrasound
Our experienced sonographers perform targeted, high-resolution ultrasounds that evaluate fetal anatomy, placental health, and other important features. All studies are reviewed by our board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists.
Optional Follow-Up Diagnostic Testing
When indicated, patients may choose to proceed with additional diagnostic procedures, which are available on-site:
- Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)
- Amniocentesis
Both procedures are performed by our Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists using advanced ultrasound guidance to maximize safety and accuracy.
